| Was at Sentosa on Friday, and went to have lunch at Coastes on a whim. Have to say that the serving was humogous but not really fanstatic.
The plate itself was bigger than my face..
The view of the place was seriously blocked. Can barely see the sea.
The animal safari at Vivo. Accidentally left the flash on and took this creepy pic, looks like the dog had a pair of flashlight eyes... |

| There are quite a few comic strips that I enjoy immersely but I have to say top of the list would have to be 9 Chicweed Lane. It is a blend of sophisticated humor, art and immersion in the wonderful world of words. It does not just rely on slapstick or sex to sell the comic but it makes ppl think abit more. Punchline aside, Brooke McEldowney has an unrivalled way of making us think a little more than we would. Comic strip were intended to give us a ten sec smile on our faces, not so with his. His comic is a look on life, religion and society. He is a rebel, where on his whims, he would draw his comic for the sake of drawing, with no jokes, no punchlines but just to draw.
His story which follows the life of three women is an immersely wonderful look at three strong independent women with their distinct personalities. The focus lately had been on the youngest, Edda whose sweet love with her geeky childhood best friend gives hope and life that bit more optimism.

Through the years, his characters have grown and mature together with us. From their school life to where they are currently in their chosen profession and growing and learning and living life....
